Puno is a so-called “blow yarn”. This means that fine alpaca and merino wool fibers are blown into a narrow polyamide stocking, which in turn forms a very light and airy yarn. The mixture of alpaca and merino also means that the yarn is very soft and comfortable to wear. Puno is thicker than Puno Petit, and is therefore faster to knit with. However, both look great with jumpers, dresses, cardigans and other fine everyday garments.
