In the same way that many small streams make a big stream, the knitted garments are created on the needles. Stitch by stitch, the garments grow and take shape. This collection is made in 3-thread knitting yarn. It is a light and airy yarn made from Norwegian sheep’s wool that we spin ourselves here at the factory in Romsdalen.
After a summer in Norway, along fjords and mountains, we have been inspired and named the garments in the collection after our rivers; Istra, Jori and Sira, Frya, Eira and Imsa. Such beautiful names! Should only be missing, really, when we have such beautiful nature that gives us so many experiences and joys and keeps us both full and warm. Let’s take care of it!
In this collection, you can choose between the very simple recipes, and those that give you a little more trouble. Jori and Frya are both stockinette raglan jumpers – one is knitted from the bottom, the other from the top. Sira is a really good and chunky sweater that is knitted from the top. It has extra length at the back and a lovely high neck. It is knitted in a mixture of 3-thread and mohair yarn Plum. Imsa is a v-neck jumper with a fun twist on the neckline and a simple structure. Eira is the pearl of the collection. It has a rib knit that slopes outwards and is knitted in a mixture of 3-thread and Plum. Istra has braids all over, so here you have to keep your tongue in your mouth, but it’s so much fun to knit! Most of the sweaters are short in the waist and go well with dresses, or with high-waisted trousers and skirts. If you like them a little longer, just knit a few extra cm. It is allowed to make your own twist, like the streams in spring that find their own way!
