3-Tråds Strikkegarn is a 3-thread carding yarn made of 100% Norwegian wool. With its 3 threads, this yarn is particularly hard-wearing and durable. 3-Tråds Strikkegarn provides airy, warm and durable garments. The yarn quality is mainly used for traditional jumpers and cardigans, but it is also well suited for plain colored garments and structured knitwear.

3-Tråds Strikkegarn is one of our oldest yarn qualities and has been with RAUMA since 1927. Yarn qualities in 100% wool provide garments that warm and breathe even in damp conditions. This makes the garments excellent for trips and activities, as well as for everyday use. 3-Tråds Strikkegarn is produced at Rauma factory in beautiful Romsdalen.

Norwegian wool is particularly characterized by good wear resistance, resilience and elasticity. Spun as carded yarn, wool provides the ideal balance between functionality and comfort. The result is light, airy and user-friendly garments with a long lifespan.
