This is Else Schjellerup’s take on a funfair cardigan. This cardigan is close-fitting, has a slight A-shape and is designed to hang loosely without buttons, but can also be wrapped around and held together with a brooch.

YARN FROM FILCOLANA: Saga colour 127 (Bamboo) 250 (250) 300 (300) g

NEEDLES: Circular needle 2.5 mm and 3 mm, 80 cm. Double pointed needles 2.5 mm and 3 mm (omit these if working magic loop on long circular needle)

EXTRAS 10 Stitch markers (8 in the same colour, 2 in a contrasting colour) 2 Stitch holders

Gauge 30 stitches and 38 rows in eyelet pattern, with Saga on 3 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm Gauge is measured after washing. Needle sizes are for guidance only. If you have more stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle. If you have fewer stitches on 10 cm, change to smaller needles.
